Waitangi Golf Club was established in 1947 and has continued to develop over the years and now has a "must play" reputation. The panoramic sea views are a striking feature of the course and any poor shots are more than compensated for by these views. There are also stands of native bush along with native birds. The course is gently undulating and easy walking.
